Readers Cult is an independent publishing brand. Products sold through this website may include books, pre-orders, print-on-demand items, and selected related merchandise.

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue products, pricing, policies, and website content at any time without prior notice. The version of the policy in effect at the time of purchase will apply to your order.

2. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications, prices, and availability are accurate. However:

minor errors, omissions, delays in updates, or typographical mistakes may occur
colors, finishes, and printed results may vary slightly depending on screen settings, print processes, materials, and fulfillment methods
mockups, product images, and visual previews are illustrative and may not perfectly reflect the final physical product

Readers Cult does not guarantee that all product descriptions or other website content will be error-free, complete, or current at all times.

We reserve the right to correct any errors and to cancel or refuse orders affected by incorrect pricing, product information, or technical mistakes.

3. Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

Once an order is placed, you will typically receive an order confirmation email. This confirmation does not automatically mean that the order has been accepted for final fulfillment. We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases involving:

suspected fraud or abuse
pricing or technical errors
product unavailability
unusual order activity
incomplete or incorrect billing or shipping information

If an order is canceled after payment has been taken, the customer will receive an appropriate refund.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on the website are shown in the currency indicated at checkout. Prices may change at any time without prior notice, but such changes will not affect orders already accepted.

5. Pre-Orders

Certain products may be sold on a pre-order basis. By purchasing a pre-order item, you acknowledge and agree that:

the product is not yet ready for immediate shipment
any publication, release, or shipping date shown is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise
production, printing, supply, or logistics delays may affect dispatch timing
timelines may change without creating liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate major pre-order delays, but cannot guarantee specific dispatch or arrival dates for pre-order products.

If an order contains both pre-order and currently available items, we may hold the shipment until all items are ready unless otherwise stated.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping and delivery are subject to our Shipping & Returns Policy.

Estimated delivery windows are indicative only and are not guaranteed. Readers Cult is not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, force majeure events, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing and shipping details. We are not responsible for delivery failures, delays, or losses resulting from incorrect information supplied by the customer.

7. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Returns and refunds are subject to our Shipping & Returns Policy and any mandatory rights applicable under consumer law.

As a general rule:

made-to-order, print-on-demand, personalized, or pre-order items may be non-returnable except where required by law
returns for change of mind may not be accepted
damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be reported promptly with supporting evidence
approved refunds will generally be made to the original payment method

We reserve the right to deny refund or return claims that are unsupported, abusive, fraudulent, or inconsistent with applicable law and our published policies.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, designs, logos, branding, book concepts, editorial frameworks, graphics, product descriptions, images, downloadable materials, and website content, is owned by or licensed to Readers Cult and/or Ideas al Azar and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No part of the site or its content may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, distributed, modified, transmitted, or exploited without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

The purchase of a product does not transfer any intellectual property rights to the customer beyond the limited right to use the purchased physical product for personal, non-commercial use.

pre-order timing changes
website downtime, errors, or interruptions
pricing or product listing errors
third-party service failures
loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, or disappointment of expectations

To the extent permitted by law, Readers Cult’s total liability in connection with any order or claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific product giving rise to the claim, except where a greater remedy is required by applicable law.

12. No Warranties Beyond Legal Requirements

Except as required by applicable law, products and website services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the site, error-free operation, or that every product will meet every customer’s subjective expectations.

Nothing in this policy excludes warranties or guarantees that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
